Hi Werutz,

I can think of a few ways to get more SQL experience.

The first is to write some small projects that use SQL. It doesn't have to be anything complex, just something like an online calendar or address book. Keep writing small things like this to get a better idea of how to apply your knowledge.

The second is to contribute to an open source project that needs an SQL expert. Think of an area of interest, and look for projects based around it. You're bound to find someone that needs help, and there are loads of great projects you can work on.

Finally you could use a site such as rentacoder.com to offer your services as a developer. Take on small projects, and see how you get on.

Hope that helps,
Phil

I loved designing and planning things when I was younger, much more than the actual making. I planned Sonic and Shining Force card games, an epic Sonic novel (that barely even got started, but had a pretty title page) and probably loads more that I've forgotten about.

Out of all those, I think Psycho Bean is the one that could really sell - imagine it done in a Metal Slug-style, with machine guns and Lemonade Dippers all over the place. I'd buy it!
